Returns Overview

In the most basic terms we will not refund:

·         Anything that has been modified or is not in original condition (this includes cutting / soldering / gluing and modifying in any way).

·         Anything that has been opened.

·         Li-PO’s that have been charged or discharged.

·         Burnt out motors and speed controllers (we have no way to determine if a fault existed with the motor/ESC or the damage was created by user error).

With virtually every item we sell we have absolutely no control over its care and ultimate usage. If the goods returned are defective we will refund you without hesitation, if they are used or abused we will not. We will only offer a refund, not a replacement.

Notes on new equipment

There are many simple ways to test if an item operates correctly. Speed controllers can be temporally connected using connector block or ‘choc blocks’ as they are often referred to. Ensure that the pre-soldered ends are secured and the insulation is not pinched. Pinched insulation and a poor connection will lead to hesitant running, over heating and ultimately damage the controller. I would certainly NOT recommend this form of connection to be used for a permanent set-up but this method does allow the ESC to be bench tested before use and without soldering. Never run a controller without a motor attached. The motor provides the audio indication that the controller is functioning. Controllers operated without a motor connected will not be refunded.

We carefully inspect and test all our servos before dispatch. This ensures that you do not receive a dead unit or missing teeth in the gear train. Please ensure that your servos operate freely without a load before mounting them. If you mount them, drill a control horn or modify the servo or servo arms in any way we will not be able to offer a refund.

All brushless motors must be tested with appropriate, controller, connectors, propeller and suitable voltage. Motors that have had their orientation reversed from supplied, motors with broken shafts, or with bearing allowed to run dry and burnt out motors will not be replaced.

Summary

As a modeller with over 30 years of experience I understand the desire to use your newly acquired gear as soon as possible. But, please consider our returns policy before rushing to charge the new Li-Po, soldering your leads or chopping of the pre-soldered connector.

Important information regarding Li-PO batteries:

We would recommend that the pack voltage and cell difference is checked on receipt with a dedicated Li-PO voltage tester only. This is the only method we would recommend. Do not use a multi meter across the balance connector. I have witnessed to many packs destroyed through fingers slipping and test probes touching.

Li-Po batteries are often supplied with the wrong connector to the one you use. Please do not chop it off or replace it until you have tested the pack voltage. Do not charge or discharge your battery until you have tested the pack voltage and cell difference.

Please be aware that due to the very nature of a Li-PO battery and its indeterminate future use the guarantee is extremely limited. Please ensure that you read our Terms and Conditions plus our Returns Policy before purchasing.

Please note that we take absolutely no responsibility for ANY accidents, incidents, fire or damage caused that potentially could occur whether the packs have been used correctly or not. You purchase and use them at your own risk and do NEVER charge them unattended.

We test each Li-PO pack before packaging and record the cell voltages. The voltages are listed on a small label attached to the pack and a copy attached to your invoice. We will not supply a pack that clearly has poor pack imbalance. All batteries leave us undamaged and packaged to ensure they reach you safely. It is your responsibility to check for damage upon receipt. If the battery has been damaged in the post please DO NOT SIGN FOR IT. ParkAero.Com is unable to make a claim for the damage if the goods have been signed for and will not accept any liability for the damage.
