Anyone purchasing from us will know that we offer sound advice if required when it comes to building and flying your model. This exchange provides us a great insight into our customer’s experience of our products and where difficulty has been found. With RC Factory models the biggest headache for most customers tends to be the included Kevlar thread pull-pull system for rudder and elevator. If the instructions are followed to the letter a successful system can be created but quite often this can prove difficult and often the most carefully installed system can slacken in time leading to potential flutter in flight. Fundamentally the pull-pull system can be one of the most accurate and lightweight systems to use but the Kevlar thread can let it down.

Fortunately we now have the solution. Since Kevlar thread was introduced various new high tech materials have reached the market that offer similar properties to the Kevlar thread. One of these new materials offers greater strength than Kevlar thread with virtually no stretch and is making its way into many facets of high tech construction. This material is called Dyneema.  Unfortunately, this is relatively costly and generally supplied in larger quantities than most modellers would find use for. With this in mind we have taken the trouble to source Dyneema thread ourselves and we will include a length of this new material in every RC Factory EPP design free of charge if you want it.
